So Nate's not fully convinced putting up a Thanksgiving Tree is necessary, but I thought it was fun. I assured him it would come down as soon as Thanksgiving was over. I had planned for us to write lists of thanksgiving on these cute leaves for our Family Night. Instead of making a tree from paper or drawing it on the whiteboard, I just decided to get our little pencil tree down from the attic. It was perfect! Everyone got in on the work-helping set up the tree, cutting leaves, writing personal praises, and hanging the leaves. We’re trying to add more leaves as the week goes. There’s so much to be thankful for this year:
Lots of time in God’s Creation
Grandparents who love our boys
Seeds from a neighbor to make a fruitful garden
AND
A year without cancer
God is good. All the time.
