Here’s another little glimpse into Courben’s school day. Today, he wanted to do school with his cars. So, I made a parking garage out of a box and wrote each letter of the alphabet onto each parking space. I said a word and he had to decide what the beginning sound was and park his car in the appropriate spot. This proved to be a pretty fun activity. At the end of our time, he had a few letters not accounted for, so we worked on those specific sounds (like why the letter y doesn’t make the /w/ sound).
