Adoption update time: we’re done with all our paperwork! We had to submit pretty much every possible form that makes us the Shoemakers, including Linus’ vet records and our taxes. We’ve finally completed that along with a fire inspection and several online courses. Next step is a homestudy, where we’ll have individual interviews and a home audit. We also have an orientation in Toledo in June. We’re on track with our funding and as is typical with God’s provisions, we’ve had just what we needed when we needed it. We still have a long way to go to be fully funded, but thankfully, after the homestudy is complete, we will be eligible for grants. Thanks for your continued support and prayers through this. We’re thankful for how smoothly everything has gone thus far.
