Nate and I had a 3DM retreat on our calendar and decided we’d bring the boys (and my parents) along for a combined vacation. Since we were there a week, I thought I’d stretch out my posts so you could get a sneak peak into our week. All in all, the week went smoothly, with lots of brotherly love mixed in. The boys did great, even despite our ten and a half hour van ride home. They occupied themselves with Finding Nemo and Toy Story 1 & 2, snacking, and singing solos for the camera (don’t worry, you’ll get a glimpse of that later). Most days were spent on the beach and evenings were spent at a local restaurant or ice cream shop. There was lots of play and rest, which makes for a good vacation and retreat.
