We finally found time to make a trip out to a pumpkin patch today. Unfortunately, the rain didn’t hold off for our outing. Thankfully, this farm had a play area in a barn with corn boxes (you know, instead of sand boxes), hay mazes, and slides. Both boys enjoyed their time; Judah mostly threw corn (going against all posted warnings) and Courben raced through the maze (never hurting any other children on purpose or on accident, I'm sure). We ended up selecting a pumpkin from the already-picked-pumpkins area instead of heading out on a soggy hayride to hunt for the most perfect pumpkin. Lunchtime and naptime were both calling, so we headed up home-filthy, hungry, and worn-out from a fun morning. We’re hoping to open up our pumpkin and play with its slimy insides soon!
