the butcher, the baker, and courben shoemaker

bread

We finally got yeast the other day and were able to try out one of our garage sale treasures, an $8 bread maker.  The boys helped measure the ingredients and put them in the machine.  They also got to press the button to turn it on.  The hardest part ended up being the wait time.  The bread maker beeps throughout its cycle to let you know it’s done with each step.  So, with each beep came two little boys running into the kitchen to peek inside the lid.  Once the final beep went off, they helped get the bread out and wanted to show off their work.  Good thing it ended up working and the bread was tasty!
