One of the major components of Charlote Masons's homeschool philosophy is nature study. So, we've set aside Wednesdays as our nature study day. We all agree that Alum Creek is our favorite place, and we've yet to be disappointed. Last week, we were showered with gifts from our Creator. We got to see an ant colony, a mama and baby deer, a tiny brave snail, minnows, and our most treasured find--crawdads! The cool weather has been perfect for or explorations! We're counting the days until Fall-eight to be exact.
