First harvest! One of our neighbors generously gave us a huge stack of seeds. Thankfully, we hadn't planted the garden yet, so instead of buying plants, we just sowed the seeds! Our front beds are teaming with gorgeous flowers (perennials even)! And our garden is overgrown with carrots, tomatoes, and watermelon. I've never done carrots before, so about once a week, we pull one to check if they're ready. This was the first one that's been orange enough and big enough. Here's to many more rabbit-y carrot days!
