Next Shoemaker Adventure: city bus system
Things we've learned in three days:
1). Wear snow pants and boots. It means lots of fun playing in the snow while you wait for a bus.
2). Ask. Ask. Ask. People are generally friendly and will answer even the silliest of bus questions.
3). When all else fails, get on the right bus going the wrong way. It will get you where you need to go eventually.
4). Slow down. Rushing only makes for a stressful momma and tired little boys.
5). Snuggle up. When the bus is packed, share seats and get cozy so you don't have to split up.
6). Have a light hearted attitude when your youngest licks the metal railing on the bus!
