Over the last two years, our family has been at work, with lots of new relationships, two little boys, a new job for Nate, and a new business for me. See? Work. Now, don't misunderstand me. This work has been incredibly fruitful, we've seen God all over it, and we're thankful.
One of the things I've been thinking about is the continuum between play and purpose. We've purposed well and it's time to play well. There has to be seasons of both, and I'm certain we're coming into a season of play. So, over the next year, you'll see lots of this blog with flavors of fun and play written all over it.
So, without further ado. Play has come to the Shoemaker house in the form of s'mores, cooties, and watching football. We're finding ways we can play as a family. It may not be something everyone enjoys, but we value each person and their unique desires.
