God IS big

It has been quite a month at the Shoemaker house. I have written about where we're at with the adoption, which was somewhat of a bump in our month. That was nothing compared to the brick wall we ran into last week when we found out that Nate has been given the diagnosis of cancer, specifically melanoma. Thankfully, we have a great doctor who has given us the facts and even her personal recommendation based on what she would choose if it were her.  We are choosing to find joy and unity in life.  Ultimately, God is big and so is His Kingdom, and we're trusting His plan. To wrap up this week, we received a letter stating we have been chosen to receive an adoption grant!  What timing!  As always, we covet your prayers for wisdom, joy, and unity. Also, we are willing to answer any questions regarding this since it's obviously kinda huge.
