I feel like we’ve missed out on some major fun this summer! The Columbus Commons has been hosting Commons for Kids every Friday and this is the first we’ve heard about it. There were free carousel rides (which we did twice), life-size chess, bocce ball, a bounce house, storytime, and a huge inflatable water slide. We got in on most of the activities, but didn’t bring our suits this time. It looks like there are two more of these days left for the summer, so we’ll have to come dressed appropriately next time! We finished our time by creating our very own Jeni’s Neapolitan ice cream to share: dark chocolate for Judah, roasted strawberry buttermilk for Courben, and backyard mint for me. What a treat! We’re planning to head back over this evening for an outdoor movie (pictures to come)!
