Supplies Needed: candles, play dough, dice (numbered or dotted)
How to play: make a cake out of play dough, roll the die, say the number aloud, count the candles to match the number on the die, put each candle in the cake, mom checks
Courben had lots of fun playing this “game”. He would only do each number once; so if he rolled the same number, he would reroll. We used both types of Phase 10 dice and a regular dotted dice. The dotted die is still pretty tricky at this point. We’re looking forward to many more learning games as I have made a commitment to do three activities a week with Courben.
