who’s the mommy?

Me: **closing my eyes while nursing Judah in the rocking chair…during the day**

Courben:  Mommy, we only sleep in beds.

Me:  **no response**

Courben:  Do you hear me?

Me:  Yes.

Courben:  We listen the first time.

Me:  Okay.

Courben:  What do you say?

Me:  I’m sorry for sleeping in the rocking chair.

Courben:  I forgive you. **goes back to playing with his farm animals**

Well, at least we know we’re getting through to him.
